Saving and sharing a calculation

Every calculation run through /calculator persists to your workspace with a unique URL and a full input snapshot. Share the URL with a broker or a colleague and they see the same CostLayer breakdown you saw, cited and all. Access is controlled at the workspace level, so nothing leaves your org unless you choose to share it.

Saved calculations live indefinitely on paid tiers. On the Free tier they are retained for ninety days.

How to save and share a calculation

1. Run a calculation from the calculator.
2. When the CostLayer breakdown appears, the calculation is already saved. No extra click required.
3. Click the copy-URL button at the top of the result panel to copy the shareable link.
4. Send the URL to your broker or colleague. If they have a LandedFees account on the same workspace, they see the result inside the app. If not, they see a read-only public view.
5. To revoke the public link, open the calculation from the dashboard and toggle Public off.
6. To share with a specific email inside your org, use the Share menu and add teammates individually.

Copying the URL is enough to hand a broker something to review. If you need a printable version, use Export PDF from the same panel.

Public versus private links

Public means anyone with the URL can view the calculation without logging in. Private means only signed-in members of the workspace can open it. Public is the default for calculations run through the marketing calculator; private is the default for calculations run inside the dashboard.

Toggle Public off before sharing when the calculation involves confidential invoice values or supplier identities.

Retention

On Pro and above, saved calculations never expire. On Free, they are retained for ninety days from the last view. Export to PDF or CSV if you need a permanent record on Free.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit a saved calculation

No. Calculations are immutable snapshots. Duplicate the calculation from the saved view to iterate on it.

Who can see a private calculation

Only signed-in members of the workspace that owns the calculation. Even the URL leaks nothing if a non-member tries it (they see a 404).

Does the shared link expire

Public links do not expire automatically. Toggle Public off to revoke a link.

Can I bulk-export every saved calculation

Yes. From /dashboard, open the calculations view and click Export All. You get a CSV of every calculation your workspace has run.
