A landed cost calculator is a tool that returns the total cost to land an imported shipment at the destination, adding duty, tax, freight, insurance, broker fees, and country-specific charges to the invoice value. LandedFees runs the full US duty stack on every quote.
Landed cost is the total cost to land a shipment at the buyer's door. It sums the goods invoice value, international freight, cargo insurance, import duty (base MFN plus every applicable overlay), destination taxes, and the operational charges from the customs broker, terminal, and inland leg.

+ StorageFOB Shanghai invoice value 10,000 USD, HTS 6109.10.0012 (men's knitted cotton t-shirts). Column-1 MFN is 16.5%, so base duty is 1,650 USD. Section 301 List 3 adds 25% on the same dutiable base for another 2,500 USD. MPF is 0.3464% of value (34.64 USD, under the 634.62 cap). Ocean HMF is 0.125% of value (12.50 USD). Ocean freight Shanghai to LA is 1,800 USD, cargo insurance 60 USD, single-entry broker fee 250 USD. Total landed = 10,000 + 1,650 + 2,500 + 34.64 + 12.50 + 1,800 + 60 + 250 = 16,307.14 USD before California sales tax, or 1.63 USD per shirt on a 10,000-unit shipment.
Provide origin country, destination country, invoice currency, invoice value, freight terms (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP), and product description. Upload a PDF or photo of the commercial invoice and the calculator will auto-extract line items.
The classifier suggests a 6-digit HS code (and the destination-country extension, for example 10-digit HTS for US or 10-digit CDS for UK). Review the suggestion, swap it if needed, and pin the CROSS ruling that supports it.
The engine layers every applicable duty: MFN, Section 232 steel and aluminum derivatives, Section 301 China lists, Section 122 reciprocal, AD/CVD, Chapter 99 overlays, USMCA and other FTAs, VAT or GST, and country-specific import surcharges.
Download a PDF or share a link with every line: goods value, freight, insurance, dutiable value, each duty component with its statutory citation, MPF and HMF, sales tax or VAT, broker fee, and the final landed cost per unit and per shipment.
