Historical audit: delivery timeline and report format
Historical audit turnaround, the shape of the report you get, and how findings integrate with your live workspace.
Historical audit: delivery timeline and report format
Historical audit turnaround depends on volume. Starter (10,000 lines) typically clears in five to ten business days. Business (200,000 lines) typically clears in fifteen to twenty-five business days, longer if broker scorecard and supplier intelligence add-ons are computed on top of the audit run.
The delivered report is both a PDF for stakeholders and a live workspace state, so every finding is actionable from the same /audit view as your streaming audits.
What the timeline looks like
Day 0 to 2: intake. Batch is validated, entries are parsed, and any format issues are surfaced back to you for confirmation.
Day 2 to N: engine runs. Each entry passes through the same deterministic parser and audit engine as the streaming path. Findings accumulate in your workspace as they are computed.
Day N-1 to N: report assembly. Findings are grouped by lane, by category, and by dollar impact. Broker scorecard and supplier intelligence layers compute on top of the finding set.
Day N: delivery. You get an email with the PDF attached and a link to the workspace view. The findings are immediately actionable: pick the ones you want to file, generate PSC memos, or export the batch for a broker.
Report format
Executive summary: total dollar impact, findings count by severity, biggest single opportunity, and top three amendment lanes by dollar. One page, printable.
Findings by lane: PSC, 1520(d), protest, drawback (or the national equivalents), each with the count, the total dollar impact, and the statutory-window countdown.
Findings by category: missed preferences, misclassification, duplicate fees, missed exclusions, AD/CVD scope. Same count and dollar impact grouped differently.
Broker scorecard (Business bundle only): per-broker rate and dollar impact so you know which broker relationships need attention.
Supplier intelligence (Business bundle only): per-supplier finding concentration so you can spot systemic origin or classification errors.
Integration with the live workspace
Every historical finding lives in the same findings table as streaming audit findings. Filter by source historical to isolate them, or leave the filter off to see everything. Generate a PSC memo or a 1520(d) batch from a historical finding the same way you do from a streaming one.
Frequently asked questions
Can I run a second historical audit later
Yes. Buy another bundle. Bundle purchases are additive.
Is the audit trail preserved
Every finding carries its engine version and its deterministic audit hash so any auditor can reproduce the run.
What happens to my data after the bundle completes
Data stays in your workspace. Nothing is deleted unless you delete the workspace.
Are historical audits handled by humans
The audit engine is fully automated. Human review is available on Business bundle purchases as a paid add-on, contact sales.

Reading audit findings and picking an amendment lane
Every audit finding routes to one of four US amendment lanes: PSC (300 days), 1520(d) reconciliation (1 year), 19 CFR 174 protest (180 days post-liquidation), or duty drawback (5 years). Here is how to choose.
