Inviting a teammate
Send an email invite from the team page. The teammate signs up under their own credentials and lands in your workspace with the role you assigned.
Inviting a teammate
Add a colleague, a broker, or a trade compliance analyst to your workspace from /team. Invites are email-based, one at a time. The invited user signs up under their own credentials (or logs in if they already have an account) and joins your workspace with the role you assigned.
Seat consumption depends on the tier. Pro includes one seat; Growth includes five; Business includes fifteen. Extra seats cost 29 USD per seat per month on any paid tier.
How to invite a teammate
- Open /team.
- Click Invite member.
- Enter the teammate's email address (work email is recommended; personal accounts work but are harder to audit).
- Choose the role:
owner, admin, member, orviewer. See understanding org roles. - Optional: leave a note in the invite (helpful when the invitee is external).
- Send. The invite lands in their inbox within a minute.
- The invitee clicks the link, signs up or logs in, and lands inside your workspace with the assigned role.
Invites expire after seven days. Resend from the same team page if the invite goes stale.
Seat math
Every accepted invite consumes one seat. The seat pool is your tier's base seats plus any purchased seat add-ons. If you try to invite past your seat cap, the invite dialog blocks the send and points you at the billing page to buy an additional seat.
Downgrading an existing member to viewer does not free a seat; the seat is consumed as long as the member exists in the workspace. To free a seat, remove the member.
Frequently asked questions
Can I bulk-invite ten teammates at once
Not through the UI. Send one at a time. Bulk invitation via API is on the roadmap.
What if my teammate never receives the invite
Check spam, then re-send. Corporate mail filters occasionally drop invites; adding noreply@landedfees.com to the allow-list fixes it.
Do invited members see everything in the workspace
Yes, subject to their role. viewer sees but does not write; member reads and writes; admin also manages team and integrations; owner also manages billing and can delete the org.
How much does an extra seat cost
29 USD per seat per month on top of the base tier price.
